We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Exlar team!
Location:
Chanhassen, MN
Hourly rate: $22.00 to $25.00.
As our Customer Service Representative, you will work with various departments to meet moderately difficult maintenance services sales goals. Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale. You will support the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations (CRM) with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s).
Exlar manufactures electromechanical linear roller screw actuators, rotary servo motors, and integrated control solutions for a broad range of applications. Our unique technology provides an efficient electric replacement for hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders and a more robust replacement for ball screws. With forces up to 80,000 pounds and speeds up to 60 inches per second, we are able to deliver higher force and speed in smaller packages than other comparably sized actuation technology.

- Provides assistance to all areas of the company and to customers as needed on moderately complex questions.
- Responds to customer needs in a quick and effective manner performing account management functions; improved customer relations measure this position’s accountabilities.
- Coordinates activities with other departments including import/export shipments.
- Understands requirements of various regulations and works to develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Provides details for pre-order and post-order assistance upon customer request.
- Supports sales team with product quoting.
- Offers assistance on maintenance services sales goals.
- 2+ years of customer service and customer support experience (industrial or manufacturing industry experience is an asset).
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Strong computer skills required; must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
- Experience with conflict resolution and a customer‑centric attitude with a problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work with ambiguity.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
