Eaton’s Fluid Filtration Division is currently searching for a Technical Service Specialist. This is a full‑time position that offers the option to work a hybrid‑remote schedule (two days a week from home) and can be located at either our Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ office.

Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration, helping customers produce clean and pure products across a range of industries including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, industrial and municipal water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture, construction equipment, and power generation.

The expected annual salary for this role ranges from $67,500.00 to $99,000.00. The position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary information is a general guideline and may vary based upon skills, experience, and market conditions.

The Technical Service Specialist serves as a key product knowledge resource for sales, customer service, and project coordination. They use their knowledge of filtration products to educate internal and external partners, review incoming requests for proposals, and develop accurate and competitive techno‑commercial proposals in concert with our sales team and channel partners.

• Serve as a technical resource supporting the North America and global sales teams, distributors, and product end users with accurate product and application knowledge.
• Develop and produce professional techno‑commercial proposal packages for standard and configurable filtration product lines.
• Evaluate commercial and technical requirements of requests for proposal, advise customers of conflicts, and recommend changes.
• Review incoming project orders and transmit them to engineering and project coordination teams.
• Assist in facilitating in‑house and field training on filter sizing, pricing, application, and function to develop market channel filter system knowledge.
• Maintain current market knowledge and job skills through field study, internal and external educational opportunities, and industry affiliations.
• Provide feedback to engineering and sales teams to support new product and market development.
• Assist marketing and pricing teams in developing and maintaining product literature and price guides.
• Analyze data and prepare quarterly reports on product line sales performance.
• Participate in periodic ad‑hoc projects in support of sales, marketing, and operations goals.
• Engage in intradepartmental learning and cross‑training to broaden product knowledge.
• Support the customer service team by responding to phone calls and emails as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND a minimum of one (1) year of experience in industrial technical sales, manufacturing operations, or engineering, OR four (4) years of experience in those fields.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• Relocation benefits are not offered; only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ (or active‑duty military service members) will be considered.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or physical science from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of industrial liquid filtration applications.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Experience with an industrial manufacturing ERP platform.
