Night Shift Profile Extrusion Operator

Set-up, start-up, shut-down, operate and troubleshoot all related equipment-extruder, controls, water trough, etc.

Visually inspect and compare production parts with sample parts to assure quality production

General housekeeping of work area, break area and bathroom

Perform basic maintenance on extruder and equipment, including cleaning of the screw and die

Help keep die room organized and clean

Properly fill out labels, production logs and properly palatalizing material

Help supervisor train new staff

Operate a forklift as needed

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 6 months experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am)

Ability to periodically rotate to days for training purposes

Ability to work weekends and holidays, if needed

Must be able to read, communicate, and understand the English language

Must be safety-oriented, have basic math skills and a great attitude!

Prolonged standing, bending, and pushing, lifting, or carrying objects

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during a work shift

Must be able to tolerate seasonally hot and cold work environment
