Staff Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
