We’re on the lookout for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic Purchasing Team
. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love ensuring seamless operations, this role is for you! You'll work closely with all Mosaic locations and suppliers to keep our inventory on point and products arriving on time
. This role requires working on-site at our Chantilly, VA, office five days a week.
- Master the flow of materials
—Review, organize, and release orders for weekly truckload suppliers. - Keep our inventory at its best
—Analyze system-generated purchases and compare them against company stock levels and usage to maintain optimal supply. - Ensure accuracy & efficiency
—Double-check all purchase orders, provide necessary shipping documentation, and run daily supplier follow-up reports. - Stay ahead of the game
—Update ERP system costs and pricing as needed. - Drive continuous improvement
—Suggest and implement process enhancements to make purchasing smoother and more effective. - Build strong relationships
—Foster great working relationships with both suppliers and internal teams. - Take on exciting challenges
—Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Inventory & purchasing know-how
—Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management systems. - Strong communication skills
—You can effectively coordinate between multiple locations and vendors. - Industry experience (a plus, but not required!)—Background in building materials, remodeling, or interior design
. - Meticulous attention to detail
—You thrive on accuracy and efficiency. - Tech-savvy mindset
—Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working in an ERP system. - Education & experience
—Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience
