PurposeThe Project Managerat Scott -Long Constructionoverseestheentireconstructionprojectlifecyclewithagoalofachievingfinancial,qualityandschedulesuccessforSLCandourtrustedclientsandstakeholders.
Duties&Responsibilities- Understandandachievethegoalsofconstructionprojects
- Build,maintainandgrowtherelationshipwithallstakeholders,includingbutnotlimitedtoowners/clients,designteamsandarchitects,subcontractors,SLCteammembers
- Oversightandmanagementoftheconstructionproject
- Projectqualitycontrol
- Manageprojectcashflow
- Inspectionofjobsites
- Projectclose-out
- Prepare,update,maintainandcommunicatemasterscheduleasprojectrequires
- Reconcileconstructionprogresswithmasterschedule
- Provideprojectstakeholderswithinformationandmaterialsrequiredtomeetprojectgoalsthroughschedulingactivities,consistent follow-up,andthoroughcommunication
- Drivesafeworkingconditionsandensureanaccident-freeproject
- AdheretoSLCaccountingpracticesandensuretimelinessofPO/invoicepreparation/processing
- Activelyseekoutprocessimprovementsandoperationalexcellenceinordertodrivefinancialandbuildingsuccess
- Workcloselywithprojectteamprovidingconsistentfeedback,communicatingprojectupdates,schedules,and expectations
- Business Development-developpipelineandseekoutopportunitiesforfutureprojects
- Allotherdutiesasassigned
- Strongcommunicationskills,enthusiasticpersonalitywithafocusonrelationships.
- 3-5yearsofcommercialconstructionprojectmanagementexperience
- Demonstratedexperienceworkingcloselywithowner,architectsandsubcontractorsinaconstructionprojectmanagementsetting
- Proventrackrecordofprojectmanagementfinancialsuccess
- Excellentorganizationandinterpersonalskills
