Description
The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Technician will support a government contract in the National Capital Region (NCR). The ideal candidate will manage the PCB design workflow, maintain all files in the design library, and provide design support to PCB fabrication and assembly operations.
Responsibilities- Serve as the PCB design expert on a team that includes PCB fabrication and assembly.
- Create and maintain PCB design files in the ECAD library.
- Create and maintain PCB design, assembly, and fabrication procedures.
- Advise, assist, and train personnel on PCB design standards and best practices.
- Support procurement requirements for PCB fabrication and assembly.
Travel within the continental United States (CONUS) and abroad (OCONUS) up to 5% of time.
Security Clearance- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or 16 years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience using Altium Concord Pro electronic components library software and Altium Designer software.
- Demonstrated experience working on a team.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain IPC specialist‑level certifications related to PCB design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
