This position merges direct student instruction with forward-thinking program innovation, allowing you to personally guide individual readers while forming a framework that extends foundational literacy throughout multiple school sites.

• Conduct adaptive reading workshops that build core competencies in phonics, comprehension, and fluency
• Create personalized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lasting passion for reading
• Review student performance data to iteratively improve methods and identify actionable insights
  
  Partner with the technology team to assess and improve AI-driven literacy tools

• Bachelor’s degree accompanied by advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students
• Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning tools and attentive to student interactions within these platforms
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Able to work on-site at one of our locations:
  Chantilly (Washington), VA;
  Lake Forest (Orange County), CA;
  San Francisco, CA;
  Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. Consult  for more details.
