K is seeking a mid‑level AI/ML Engineer to provide support for our customers in Chantilly, VA. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
Responsibilities- Develop intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing, and predicting future events; transition algorithms into AI models and systems; test, verify, validate, and maintain them.
- Use large data sets to research, develop, and generate algorithms that can learn, assess, analyze, and organize data, execute tests, and optimize the learning process to help develop high-performance ML models.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Active TS/SCI with current CI polygraph.
- At least 5 years of AI/ML expertise and experience in developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing, and predicting future events, turning those algorithms into AI models and systems, and then testing and maintaining them.
- Ability to demonstrate use of large data sets to research, develop and generate algorithms that can learn and assess, analyze, and organize data, execute tests, and optimize the learning process to help develop high performance ML models.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related quantitative science field.
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related quantitative science field.
- Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programs.
- Experience with cloud development processes.
- Experience with industry system engineering practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership.
Must have an active TS-SCI with a current Polygraph.
