RF Engineer – K , Inc.

K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will profoundly impact the protection of national security.

• Innovative Projects: at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT, and cybersecurity.

• Advise on new systems acquisitions and upgrades for the government.
• Deliver new capabilities by communicating with users, contractors, and operations to understand requirements and coordinate testing.
• Architect systems and act as subject‑matter expert advising government clients on acquisition decisions.
• Perform RF testing during equipment installations.
• Assist in contract work, including development of Statements of Work, proposal review, and contractor performance assessments.
• Design and troubleshoot network architectures with developers and operations.

  On‑site
• Travel:
  Minimal, up to 15% within the United States and OCONUS.
• Hours:
  
  Standard.

• Security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of RF experience.
• Requirements documentation skills to maintain baselines.

• Satellite systems experience: 3 years with commercial/government acquisition of satellite/ground segment hardware/software.
• Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
• Good understanding of IT networks (performance, topologies).
• Experience with RF‑based satellite communications.
• Experience with digital signal processing.
