Position: Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
IT Senior System Engineer As IT System Engineer, you will be expected to perform at the SME or expert level supporting the Intelligence Community Information Technology. Responsibilities:
1. Provides requisite expertise and support in establishing and managing systems engineering functions  
2. Develops and applies advanced software/systems methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems. 3. May plan, conduct and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.  
4. Analyzes, evaluates and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems
5. Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
6. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Reviews projects progress and evaluate results.
7. Recommends corrections in technical applications and analysis.
8. Specifies materials, equipment and supplies required for completion and implementation of technical projects.
9. Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. 10. May provide technical consultation to technical staff or other organizations.

Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field of Study 8+ years of experience with general systems engineering Knowledge of requirements management, configuration management, lifecycle readiness management, risk management, and schedule management practices and processes Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and high autonomy TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Requirements/Abilities:
