RF Systems Engineer LOCATION Chantilly, VA 20151 CLEARANCE TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship) KEY SUMMARY We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented RF Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop RF systems and components
- Perform RF system testing and validation
- Troubleshoot and resolve RF performance issues
- Develop and document technical specifications for RF systems
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize system integration
- Ensure RF system compliance with regulatory standards
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools like HFSS or CST
- Expertise in RF circuit design and analysis
- Knowledge of frequency spectrum management
- Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory
- Ability to design and analyze antenna systems
- Familiarity with phased array systems and beamforming
- Understanding of satellite communication systems
- Knowledge of RF safety and exposure standards
- Experience with millimeter-wave (mmWave) technologies
- Expertise in developing RF systems for harsh environments
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in RF signal processing
