Acquisition Systems Engineer

The Acquisition Systems Engineer will provide systems engineering and program management support for a $300M+ Government contract to demonstrate persistent space-based surveillance of adversary threat systems. The position is located in Chantilly, VA.

• Monitor the execution of multiple contracts encompassing ground and space segment acquisitions
• Support Technical Exchange Meetings related to ground system, space vehicle, and launch vehicle contract execution
• Support the government Program Manager to prepare milestone reviews
• Support the COTR and CO to create and review contract documentation including technical evaluations and engineering change proposals
• Provide recommendations for CDRL acceptance decisions
• Provide program management assistance to the government Federated Data lead in planning international and university research and development activities

• TS/SCI with polygraph
• BS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline
• 12+ years' relevant experience
• Proven expertise in systems acquisition
• Experience with space and ground systems

• MS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline
