About

The Role Are you ready to drive large-scale transformation at the cutting edge of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT)? Join NGA's Enterprise Engineering & Architecture Integration and Modernization Division to:
* Modernize and integrate the GEOINT architecture across the enterprise,

* Expand your technical expertise across the TCPED cycle (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination),

* Lead transformation efforts within NGA's Digital Engineering Environment.

What You'll Do As an Expert Systems Engineer & Integrator, you will play a key role in shaping NGA's enterprise systems and mission capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Enterprise Integration:
Lead cross-PEO and Mission Partner integration efforts, synchronizing architecture, requirements, and interfaces.

* Mission Engineering:
Develop and lead GEOINT Mission Use Cases-conducting interviews, identifying capability gaps, and developing architecture artifacts.

* Strategic Planning & Analysis:
Create integrated project plans, CONOPS, target architectures, and roadmaps. Perform AoAs, COAs, and trade studies to inform system investment decisions.

* Leadership &

Collaboration:

Build strong relationships across government organizations. Lead integrated project teams across Analytic, Collection Management, Data Services, IT Modernization, and more.

* Digital Engineering:
Drive adoption of agile practices and digital engineering processes to streamline GEOINT mission delivery.

* Governance & Oversight:
Participate in governance, configuration, and risk management processes. Mentor and oversee contractor engineers at all levels.

* Strong Systems Engineering and Integration expertise

* Experience capturing mission needs and translating them into technical solutions

* Familiarity with digital engineering tools, agile practices, and enterprise systems

* Leadership in complex, cross-functional environments

Skills and Experience:

Required:

* Master's degree in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 18 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree.

* 18 years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas, including:
DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
