BeyondTrust Engineer – SME

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Beyond Trust Engineer (SME) to join a cleared team supporting a military program. This position is onsite in Chantilly, VA and requires an active Secret clearance. The selected candidate will lead the configuration, integration, and sustainment of Beyond Trust’s Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access, and Password Safe solutions within a secure DoD environment.

• Design, implement, and support Beyond Trust Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access, and Password Safe tools.
• Integrate Beyond Trust with identity management, ticketing, and monitoring systems (e.g., Service Now, NICE CXOne).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Power Shell, Python) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with DoD standards including DISA STIGs and NIST 800-53.
• Oversee system patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with security and operations teams to optimize privileged access workflows.
• Provide mentoring and technical oversight for junior team members.

• Active Secret clearance (required).
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher).
• 8-10+ years of IT engineering experience (degree may substitute years of experience).
• 2+ years of hands‑on Beyond Trust experience (Remote Support, PRA, Password Safe).
• Strong Power Shell scripting and Active Directory expertise.
• Experience implementing security controls in DoD or regulated environments.

• Integration experience with Service Now or NICE CXOne.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Gov, AWS Gov Cloud).
• Python scripting or automation workflow experience.
• Prior CACI or Air Force program experience.

Salary: $115k-$130k. Full Benefits:
