Join a winning team!! SAIC’s Space and Intelligence Business Group is currently hiring to advance space capabilities supporting our Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community customers. Ten miles from the SAIC headquarters, our Chantilly, VA team supports systems development, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration and more.

• Support the planning and engineering of the cloud computing infrastructure and applications.
• Work with development team to address architecture, integration, and technical issues.
• Advise on practical implementations and develop findings and work off plans.
• Translate strategic architectures into implementation level guidance.
• Support IT-related tasks in areas such as developing requirements, placing/monitoring service requests, monitoring cloud costs, and conducting trades.
• Develop productive relationships with development contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other spacecraft, payload, and ground subject matter experts.
• Advise and mentor customer personnel regarding cloud architectures.
• Provide technical and cost assessment of vendor proposals, review technical reports, design artifacts and program plans.

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• BS or MS degree in Engineering or Information Technology; 14 years’ w/Bachelors; 12 with Masters.
• Experience architecting, engineering, developing, and deploying large-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience working on a Government or Commercial satellite program.
• Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with no supervision.

• AWS Cloud Provider certification(s) such as AWS Solution Architect.
