LV8D Solutions is currently seeking a Requirements Systems Engineer
to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to an IC customer. The customer organization we support provides the enterprise architecting, analysis, andsystemsengineeringsolutionsthatdeterminethecurrentandfuture nationalspacesystems.
Interested candidates need to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment; are highly motivated and not afraid to take on uncharted territory; possess strong communication, leadership, critical thinking and organizational skills; and be able to prioritize their time to be effective in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications Education / Experience- Bachelor’sdegree inSTEM(science,technical,engineering,math) and9+yearsof relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree in STEM(science,technical,engineering,math) and7+years of relevant experience
- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Frequentinteractionwithgovernment,SETA,FFRDC,external stakeholders
- Identifyingkeyarchitectureandsystemleveltrades
- DevelopingstrategiesinsupportofICand Department of Defense (DoD) architectures
- Assessingtheperformanceofcurrentandfuturearchitectureconcepts
- Providingtechnicalandprogrammaticguidancetothearchitectureandsystem level requirements process
- Developingarchitecturemodelstocapture theholisticviewoftheenterprise
- Strong technical fundamentals in IC space collectors, command and control, mission control, and mission processing
- Experience with use of architecting to support senior level enterprise decision making
- Experience with digital engineering
- Experience in an Acquisition Office and the processes required to support that office
- Experience in Cameo, Rhapsody, and SysML applications
- Proven experience/familiarity with architecture tools
- Proven experience with the use of architecting across IC
- Architecture domain understanding from a holistic enterprise perspective
- Ability to recommend space enterprise architecture tradeoffs, impacts, and advancement
- Experience in development and use of modeling for architecture solutions
- Understanding of core systems engineering and analysis disciplines and processes
- Experience with lifecycle readiness from System Requirements Review through system decommissioning
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
- Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums
