Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for a compassionate and committed caregiver, PCA, HHA, or CNA to support a client in Chantilly who is living with dementia.

Schedule:

• Three mornings during weekdays
• Sunday mornings

What will you do?

• Cognitive support and dementia-appropriate engagement
• Personal Care Assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Transferring, lifting and mobility assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Grocery Shopping
• Meal preparation
• Companionship / Supervision
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to doctor appointments and errands
• Documentation in client's records of the care provided after each visit

What we need from you?

• Experience working with clients with dementia (required)
• Have a valid PCA, HHA or CNA certificate
• CPR certification
• Proof of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable Personal Transportation
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist with transfers
