As a Host, you will create a positive first impression by greeting guests, managing reservations, and seating them promptly. Your friendly and welcoming demeanor will contribute to our mission of providing delicious, fresh food and affordable family fun in a championing community environment.

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression.
• Manage reservations and waiting lists, ensuring efficient seating of guests.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and service.
• Handle guest inquiries, providing information about the restaurant and menu options.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
• Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Since our first Velocity Wings concept opened in Summer of 2013 in Purcellville, Virginia, we have been humbled by and extremely proud of the overwhelming support our concept received from the community. We opened with the mission and goals of providing delicious, fresh food and affordable family fun for our neighbors. At Velocity Wings, we want to be more than just a local restaurant, we want to be a champion of the communities we serve.

We have made it an integral piece of our business model to support our local schools, churches, youth teams, civic and non-profit organizations. This is our promise to the communities that have welcomed and supported us over the years.
