Program Summary

The Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) business unit delivers base operation support services in multiple commands for the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as coalition militaries. Services include contingency and expeditionary support; next-generation asset management; digitally focused logistics; and integrated supply chain management.

This position will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise for the general administration and operations support required. Additionally, staff will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and guidance to the HR Management team and program employees.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the organization by offering guidance on the full life cycle of HR Administration and Staffing with best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with broad generalist experience and a strong understanding of business operations. The ideal candidate is:

  • Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.

  • Experienced in structured HR and business administration frameworks, ideally within large commercial enterprises, government services, or major project‑based organizations.

  • Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and aligning HR practices with strategic business objectives.

  • Skilled at balancing day‑to‑day HR operations with long‑term planning, compliance, and organizational development.

  • A trusted advisor on employee relations, providing guidance, conducting investigations, coaching leaders, and driving proactive strategies to reduce workplace issues.

  • Knowledgeable in succession planning and leadership development, using data insights to identify talent gaps, develop high‑potential employees, and support workforce planning.

  • Able to leverage HR technology, analytics, and innovative tools to streamline processes, improve employee experience, and increase operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, benefits inquiries, payroll issues, and general HR concerns.

  • Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

  • Mediate workplace conflicts and promote a positive, inclusive work environment through engagement initiatives.

  • Develop, implement, and administer HR programs, policies, and procedures aligned with global business strategy.

  • Partner with leadership to support project needs and workforce planning.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; regularly review and update policies.

  • Lead onboarding and HR support for international employees, ensuring smooth integration and compliance with global standards.

  • Prepare and analyze weekly HR reports (e.g., program status, staffing levels, employee relations metrics) to identify trends and concerns.

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training programs.

  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

  • Deliver ongoing supervisor training on topics such as progressive discipline, leave management, and conflict resolution.

  • Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in talent management and employment law.

Basic Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance or be able to obtain one.

  • Ability to travel on short notice, up to 75% (potential expat assignment).

  • Must meet expat medical requirements.

  • Must possess a valid passport book (passport card not acceptable).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday experience.
