In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national  this SETA role, you use your expertise to perform Systems Administration for a COMSEC group. A Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) provides technical expertise to the Government.

By working hand-in-hand with your Government customer, you’ll have the opportunity to influence mission success to a greater degree than anywhere else. If you want a job where you do the same thing every day, this job is not for you. You’ll troubleshoot a problem one day and advise the customer on implementation the next.

* Key Responsibilities:

* ** Upgrades:
** Perform and document hardware, software, firmware testing & upgrades
* ** Troubleshoot:
** Resolve technical issues & anomalies
* ** Maintenance:
** Perform and document scheduled maintenance, including patches & hotfixes
* ** Assessment:
** vulnerability, document, and mitigate
* ** Access:
** Help users with requests (permissions, access, etc.)
* ** Systems:
** Make recommendations for future systems

** On-site.
* ** Travel Requirements:
** Minimal travel.

* Working Hours:

** Standard 40 hours per week.

* Qualifications:

Required:

**
* ** Clearance:
** Top Secret SCI with Polygraph.

* Experience:

** 3+ years’ experience as a System Administrator
** Desired:**

* Experience:

** Military / DOD / IC space and ground experience
* *
* Education:

** AA or BS in STEM degree
* *
* Certifications:

** IAW NRO Directive 50-05, information Assurance Workforce Enhancement Program (IAWEp) category information Assurance Technical level ll (lAT ll) is desired (but not expected).
