This role involves compiling data from multiple sources within the Drug Enforcement Agency's Special Operations Division, requiring experience in logistics supply chain (maritime, land, air) and familiarity with related data sets.

• Collect, standardize large, disparate data sets, and identify relevant fields related to DEA investigative data.
• Create geospatial maps demonstrating criminal phenomena using tools like GIS, with points, keys, and legends.
• Utilize DEA data sources and develop methods to find, harvest, and analyze target-rich data using analytical tools such as Microsoft Power Query and IBM Analyst's Notebook.
• Incorporate non-DEA data sources like FinCEN, Southwest Border TRAC, Western Union, CLEAR, and DOT records.
• Access classified networks such as Merlin and attend classified briefings by DEA and other federal agencies.

• 5+ years (mid-level) and 10+ years (senior/SME) experience in data analysis, especially related to law enforcement, transportation, and finance.
• 3+ years of project or investigation participation.
• Bachelor's Degree; graduate degree or relevant work experience in data science preferred.

Position requires TOP SECRET clearance due to sensitive nature of work.

Salary range: $150,000 - $185,000 per year.
