Senior Network Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Senior Network Engineer with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining the network fabric of the ITD IT system architecture.

* Remaining well versed in a multi-vendor environment for layer 2/3 switching and routing, firewalls, SAN directors, as well as virtual and cloud-hosted networking technologies.

* Installing, configuring, and maintaining entire physical networking infrastructure including firewalls and core/distribution/access switches and routers.

* Utilizing network monitoring applications for traffic, access, and performance of entire network.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.

* In lieu of a Bachelor's:
Associates' degree and 10 years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.

* Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CCNA or equivalent) or ability to obtain one within 180 days.

* Experience in performing maintenance and upgrades of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls and networks.

* Demonstrated ability in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols.

* Experience in providing innovating methods and technical solutions to ensure network performance. Clearance Requirements:
* Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
