Location:

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Insider Threat Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities- Completes reports in response to referral requests from investigative stakeholders within the Insider Threat Program.
- Provides analytic case support for counterintelligence investigations, OIG inquiries, security investigations, personnel security adjudicative requests, DoD investigations, and external agency requests.
- Completes special analytical projects and presents analysis in the form of briefings to decision makers on the risks posed by assigned personnel.
- Facilitates and supports the real-time coordination and response de‑confliction of active insider threats through the Insider Threat Response Team (ITRT) process and immediately informs Government leadership of potential exigent threats.
- Tracks all ITAC leads and reports using an established case management system, and performs all operations, maintenance, and refinement of the system.
- Collaborates with the analytical team, Data Scientists, and visualization experts to develop innovative Insider Threat capabilities, make policy/triggering recommendations, and complete initial security assessments for privileged user access and authorization requests.
- Ability to travel domestically.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with data analytics, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements, and/or behavioral science as applied to Counterintelligence, Information Assurance, Insider Threat, Personnel Security, and/or Law Enforcement.
- Experience with host‑based insider threat detection tools and advanced analytic tools and methodologies per the applicable level stated in the table below.
- Experience with enterprise level software analysis tools used to analyze large data sets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as data analysis, security studies, criminal justice, psychology, or other behavioral sciences; three additional years of experience and an Associate’s degree.
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co‑workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
