Position: 4320 Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a senior-level Systems Engineer to plan, design, and implement enhancements and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. This role provides direct support for the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems, while ensuring the reliability, resilience, and security of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem across multi-enclave environments.

GENERAL DUTIES:
* Supervise, coordinate, design, develop and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems
* Provide direct support in day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems
* Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels
* Participate in planning, design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure
* Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments
* Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP
* Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems
* Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks
* Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy
* Advise on selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development
* Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
* Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph.
* Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements.
* Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure systems in government environments.
* Advanced proficiency with:
* Virtualization technologies (VSphere, VXRail, Proxmox, Nutanix)
* Network administration and security
* Cloud platforms (AWS Gov Cloud, SC2S, C2S)
* Linux and Windows operating systems
* Windows Active Directory
* Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, Sonic Wall)
* Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Security accreditation processes
* Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
* Dev Sec Ops  practices and tools
* Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
* Python and C# for automation and scripting
* Database technologies (SQL, MySQL, Postgre

SQL)
* LDAP/OpenLDAP, ADFS, Keycloak
* Tunneling protocols (GRE, IPSec, SSH, SSL) DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Relevant systems and cloud certifications
* Experience with Nutanix and/or Terraform
* Dev Sec Ops  practices and tools CLEARANCE:
* Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph.
