Overview
The hourly range for this position has been established at: $38.50- $43.00
.
This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for all help desk inquiries via phone, email, ticketing system, or walk-up support.
- Provide frontline troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, VPN connectivity, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic network issues.
- Create, update, and close detailed help desk tickets by gathering necessary information, performing initial diagnostics, resolving routine issues efficiently, and following up on unresolved items to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

Qualifications- Assist with user account setup, password resets, access issues, and permissions changes across various systems.
- Assist with workstation setup for new users, including imaging, deployment, configuration tasks, and supporting onboarding activities.
- Experience supporting VPN connectivity, mobile devices, and remote‑access technologies.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, user account administration, security groups, Bit Locker, Group Policies, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra), Teams, Outlook, One Drive, and related tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, application deployment, and policy enforcement.
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices in an enterprise environment.
- Experience using ticketing systems and documenting work thoroughly.
- Ability to diagnose and escape server, network, and system‑related issues, using maintenance and monitoring tools as needed.
- Assist with configuring, troubleshooting, and occasionally testing AV equipment to support meetings and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to meet SLAs and provide professional support to both technical and non‑technical users.
- Some travel is required. Must have reliable transportation for offsite service requirements.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong documentation habits and attention to details.
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent technical education/experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or IT support roles.
- Must be able to work occasional extended hours or weekends to meet operational needs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
