Data Scientist Security Clearance

We are seeking a highly analytical and versatile Data Scientist with expertise in business analytics, statistics, and data visualization to support complex business and mission‑critical projects.

• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to solve complex business analytics problems.
• Create and present data visualization mockups and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from diverse sources and formats; transform and validate them for analytical purposes.
• Interact with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical project requirements and system specifications.
• Use tools such as Tableau Prep Builder, Python, Excel, and SQL to manipulate, clean, and combine datasets.
• Document workflows, develop prototypes, and effectively communicate technical results to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support critical thinking and analytical judgments through statistical modeling, data pattern recognition, and trend analysis.
• Operate as a self‑starter and problem solver, independently tackling ambiguity and driving results with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve data discrepancies and answer requirements‑related questions.
• Interpret data models and collaborate across teams to ensure data integrity and optimal visualization solutions.

Demonstrated experience in at least two or more of the following:

• Business analytics
• Statistics
• Data verification and validation
• Data visualization
• Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and analysis.
• Experience using data prep tools like Tableau Prep Builder.
• Working knowledge of Excel and SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
• Ability to decompose complex problems into structured solutions with actionable plans.
• Experience presenting data insights and dashboards to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across teams.
• Proven ability to document work processes and visualize outcomes clearly.

• Experience with data related to technical missions, intelligence taskings, or collection/processing workflows.
• Prior work with Sponsor data systems, applications, or database structures.
• Familiarity with Sponsor data handling procedures and clearance environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Visio, SharePoint, Confluence, or other visualization/documentation tools.
• Experience working with APIs, including integration and data extraction.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git Hub.
• Proficiency in R programming is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR 4+ years of relevant data analysis experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) or military.

• Ability to synthesize disparate data sources and present findings clearly.
• Experience applying mathematical and statistical models to answer business or mission questions.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, pattern recognition, and analytical judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear documentation and reporting of analytical workflows and outcomes.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
