KEY SUMMARYWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our team and help maintain the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing servers, networks, and other critical systems, ensuring that they run efficiently and securely. You will also handle system updates, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with the implementation of new technologies.

Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain systems
- Strong understanding of networking concepts
- Capacity for troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Knowledge of system backup and recovery procedures
- Ability to ensure system security and data protection
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux systems
- Experience with cloud-based systems management
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Power Shell, Bash)
- Experience with network configurations and monitoring
- Familiarity with system performance tuning
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix)
- Familiarity with database administration
- Understanding of disaster recovery planning
