Position Overview
Rogue Think is seeking a Cloud Developer to support a classified federal program responsible for the modernization, migration, and sustainment of mission-critical enterprise applications within secure cloud environments. This role focuses on cloud-native application development, SaaS integration, legacy system migration, ETL pipeline development, and automation of enterprise workflows in alignment with Sponsor cloud-first and Agile modernization mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications in Sponsor-approved cloud environments.

• Develop and enhance Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions aligned with Sponsor standards and frameworks.

• Migrate and modernize legacy mission applications and algorithms into cloud architectures.

• Design, implement, and document data, system, and application transition procedures.

• Develop back-out and rollback procedures to support secure system transitions.

• Develop ETL pipelines and data integration services to support modernization initiatives.

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for automated provisioning and rollback of cloud environments.

• Develop secure RESTful APIs and microservices to support enterprise system integration.

• Support RMF, ATO, SSP, and BoE cybersecurity compliance documentation.

• Monitor system performance, security posture, and availability in cloud environments.

• Support Agile development activities and CI/CD pipelines.

• Support ITIL-based service management workflows for incident, change, and configuration management.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FSP

• Proven ability to design and develop cloud-native applications.

• Demonstrated success migrating legacy systems into modern cloud architectures.

• Hands-on background building Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

• Strong capability creating ETL pipelines and system integration services.

• Practical knowledge implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar tools.

• Proficiency designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservice-based architectures.

• Working knowledge of encryption protocols such as OpenSSL and TLS.

• Familiarity operating within Agile development environments.

• Understanding of RMF, SSP, and ATO compliance documentation requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Gov Cloud platforms.

• Hands-on use of containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift.

• Background utilizing Dev Ops collaboration and pipeline tools such as Git Hub, Git Lab, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Familiarity with modernizing Oracle-based enterprise systems.
