Responsibilities As a Systems Administrator , you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers. You will support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret/SCI) that enables users to collaboratively perform their work using a variety of tools and applications.
Job Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers
* Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
* Schedule installations and upgrades in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
* Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels
* Ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing appropriate software and hardware solutions
* Ensure data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations
* Develop and promote standard operating procedures
* Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with standards and configurations
* Develop and maintain comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration databases
* Support analytical tool infrastructure
* Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
* Respond to and resolve critical incidents within designated resolution timelines
Required Qualifications
* Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
* US Citizenship is required.
* Experience with virtualization technologies
* Understanding of security requirements in government environment
* Bachelor's degree or master's degree with 8 years of experience of experience OR Associate degree with 11 years of experience OR High School/Diploma with 14 years of experience,
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems administration
* Proficiency level with:
* Complex multi-enclave environments
* Advanced system security hardening
* High-availability system configurations
* Disaster recovery planning and implementation
* Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution
* System automation and orchestration
* Performance optimization techniques
* Capacity planning and resource management #Funded Position Desired Qualifications Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Experience with :
* Cloud platforms (AWS Gov Cloud, SC2S, C2S)
* Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Configuration management tools
* LDAP/ OpenLDAP , ADFS, Keycloak
* Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
* Dev Sec Ops practices and tools
