Overview
Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA) delivers high‑impact technical solutions to complex national security issues for U.S. government customers. With over 50 years of expertise, SPA values collaboration, innovation and commitment. This role is in the Space and Intelligence Division’s Intelligence Programs Group, supporting the Caledonia effort for a local Intelligence Community customer.
ResponsibilitiesKey duties include:
- Support Systems Engineering and IT Service Strategy, Enterprise Planning, Acquisition, and Contract Management functions.
- Develop and maintain systems and services definitions.
- Conduct stakeholder needs & requirements definition, systems analysis, and architecture.
- Perform system/service realization and deployment activities.
- Enablement tasks: planning, assessments, risk, issue, opportunity, schedule, configuration, measurement management.
- Quality assurance and IT resiliency.
- Business/mission and cost‑benefit analysis, architecture assessment, schedule analysis.
- Capability assessments, analysis of alternatives, technology roadmap development.
- Interface with government stakeholders, review acquisition documents, enforce quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with an in‑scope polygraph within the last 10 years.
- BS or MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 4+ years in systems engineering, including concept development, requirements engineering, architecture, design, integration, test, evaluation, and transition operations.
- Experience with NRO or IC mission.
- Familiarity with INCOSE System Engineering Lifecycle Readiness construct.
- Experience with system requirements development tools (e.g., DOORS Next Gen).
- Team collaboration skills, open communication, transparency.
- Professional rapport with senior government customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to report to Chantilly, VA full‑time as required.
- MBSE and/or Digital Engineering certifications.
- Certifications such as Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) or ITIL.
- IT architecture domain experience in IC, DoD or federal agency, exposure to DODAF/JARM.
- Knowledge of IC ITE service offerings, architectures, adoption.
