Responsibilities

As a Dev Ops Engineer III
, you will design, deploy, test, certify, operate, patch, and address interoperability issues of Dev Sec Ops  infrastructure tools. You will support the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce for multiple tools and ensure the reliability and robustness of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, test, certify, and operate Dev Sec Ops  infrastructure tools
  • Address interoperability issues for all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies
  • Deploy and configure services using infrastructure as a service provider
  • Configure and manage Linux‑based servers to serve dynamic websites
  • Debug cluster‑based computing architectures
  • Install, configure, and maintain open‑source monitoring and observability tools
  • Work closely with development and security teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines integrate with Dev Sec Ops  best practices
  • Use scripting and programming (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate deployments and improve system reliability
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
  • Support the multi‑enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
  • Respond to and resolve critical incidents within designated resolution timelines
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree with 8 years of experience OR Associate degree with 11 years of experience OR High School/Diploma with 14 years of experience.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Dev Sec Ops  practices in secure government environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Proficiency with Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency with Cloud platforms (AWS Gov Cloud, SC2S, C2S)
  • Proficiency with Virtualization (VMware vSphere, VxRail)
  • Proficiency with Linux (Rocky, Red Hat, Amazon, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems
Desired Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
  • Experience with Nutanix hyper‑converged infrastructure
  • Experience with Search and indexing tool clusters (Elastic Search, Apache Solr)
  • Experience with Repository Managers (JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus)
  • Experience with Database servers (MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL)
  • Experience with Open‑source monitoring frameworks (Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana)
  • Experience with Security and networking (SSH, SSL/TLS, Key Vaults)
  • Experience with Server side technologies (Apache Tomcat)
  • Experience with Data processing, automation and ETL workflow orchestration
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and optimization
  • Experience with Git Lab or similar version control systems
  • Experience with Network architecture and security in classified environments
  • Experience with Hybrid cloud and on‑premises integration
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies
