PositionTechnology – Data and Decision Science – Data Engineering – Manager
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead workstream delivery, ensuring quality across all processes.
- Engage with clients regularly, participating in working sessions and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Implement resource plans and budgets while managing engagement economics.
- Mentor and develop a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand analytics needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive business value.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle, implementing best practices in data governance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Deep expertise in Databricks on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Spark for big data processing.
- Strong background in data architecture and design.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non‑technical.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex technical initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 4‑6 years of relevant experience in data engineering, cloud data solutions, and analytics.
- Proven expertise in Databricks and Spark.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong client‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Advanced analytics tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with machine‑learning concepts and applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platform data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
