Job Description:

Grid Iron IT is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator/Engineer to work on an AWS infrastructure team. The qualified candidate must have an active TS security clearance, and will work hand-in-hand with technical and program management leadership to help implement the next generation desktop and web-based production and dissemination system. This position will require experience standing up and maintaining Windows Servers in a cloud environments, maintaining application and security patches, and the deployment and maintenance of custom code, COTS, and GOTS to those environments.

Responsibilities:
This position involves managing systems administration activities that support building and delivering new and innovative systems to implement analytics, exploitation, production and dissemination using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies. Duties will include building Windows instances, performing deployments to multiple development, test, and operational environments, patching, troubleshooting, and working with internal and external development teams as well as enterprise components. Qualifications:

Requires BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
Must currently possess an active TS, with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph post hire
DoD 8570 compliance

Experience with cloud/Amazon Web services (AWS)

Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems

Experience with security patching and monitoring
System (hardware, software and networking) Design and Architecture
Understanding of Agile SW development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph
Experience deploying GIS, specifically ESRI ArcGIS systems along with other technologies such as WMS, WFS, KML
Experience writing, maintaining, and describing architecture diagrams
Proven troubleshooting experience
Excellent communication (Virtual and in person)
Microsoft and/or AWS certifications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $120,000-$145,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
