Azure Virtual Desktop / EUC Engineer (TS/SCI w/ Poly)

Clearance: ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph REQUIRED Pipeline position for expected work. Overview We are seeking an Azure-focused End User Computing (EUC) / Virtual Desktop Engineer to support the modernization of a large-scale, classified enterprise desktop environment. This role is hands-on and engineering-focused, supporting the transition from traditional on-prem VDI and desktop management solutions to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Microsoft Intune.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Windows desktop engineering, VDI, endpoint management, and secure enterprise environments, with experience operating at scale (5,000+ users). Pipeline position for expected work.

Key Responsibilities Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / VDI
* Design, deploy, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) in a classified enterprise environment
* Configure and manage host pools, application groups, autoscaling, and monitoring
* Build and maintain golden images for Windows 10/11 using Azure-native tools
* Implement and support FSLogix profile containers and user profile strategies
* Troubleshoot performance, login, and application issues in virtual desktop environments
* Support multi-region AVD designs aligned to continuity and resiliency requirements Endpoint & Modern Device Management
* Engineer and support Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for Windows endpoints
* Develop and maintain Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines
* Support Windows Autopilot provisioning and lifecycle management
* Assist with migration of Group Policy (GPO) and SCCM-based configurations to Intune
* Package and deploy Win
32 applications through Intune Identity, Security & Integration
* Integrate endpoint solutions with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC
* Support Azure AD Join and Hybrid Azure AD Join device models
* Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure Zero Trust alignment and security hardening Automation & Operations
* Use Power Shell to automate image management, application deployment, and operational tasks
* Leverage Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for visibility and troubleshooting
* Create technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
* Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support for EUC and VDI-related issues

Required Qualifications
* ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
* 6+ years of experience in Windows desktop engineering, EUC, or VDI
* Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or enterprise VDI platforms (Citrix / VMware Horizon)
* Experience with Microsoft Intune or modern endpoint management solutions
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, desktop images, and enterprise configuration
* Power Shell scripting experience for automation and administration
* Experience supporting environments with 5,000+ users
* Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (DNS, routing, VPNs)
* Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 compliance) Desired / Nice-to-Have
* Direct experience migrating SCCM or GPO-based environments to Intune
* Experience in Azure Gov Cloud or other classified cloud environments
* Familiarity with FSLogix, One Drive KFM, and user profile migrations
* Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-140, MD-102, AZ-305)
* Infrastructure-as-Code exposure (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
* Prior work in DoD, IC, or other high-security environments Why This Role

* Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $160k-180k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
