Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the organization's applications and services. Your role will involve working with Kubernetes, Dev Sec Ops  practices, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Red Hat Linux, Helm, container management, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS IAM. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the platform, as well as optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.

To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with the tools and processes mentioned above. Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration, Dev Sec Ops  practices for integrating security into the development process, and Terraform for infrastructure as code will be beneficial. Experience with Ansible and Puppet for configuration management Red Hat Linux for operating system administration, Helm for managing Kubernetes applications, and AWS IAM for identity and access management will also be valuable.

Your expertise in these areas will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the platform infrastructure.

• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
• Experience with:

Desired:

• Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, Dev Sec Ops , or AWS

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e.business office with computers,phoneand printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
