As a Dev Ops engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.

As a senior platform Dev Ops engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your Dev Ops platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.

You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your Dev Ops skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms. This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or systems engineering within classified environments
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, including IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB/ALB/NLB, and Cloud Watch
• 5+ years of experience with cloud environments, programming languages, and supporting CI/CD
• Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with Linux‑based systems such as Red Hat or CentOS and scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience creating technical documentation, system diagrams, and SOPs
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, container registry management, and image‑hardening approaches
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in Dev Sec Ops  or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in Dev Sec Ops

• Experience with using AI tools for development
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community mission partners
• Experience operating AWS EKS
• Knowledge ofcloud‑native tooling or vulnerability‑analysis concepts
• Knowledge of modernization frameworks used across mission programs

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements.
