Laboratory Supervisor

Laboratory Manager - MLT

Chantilly, VA – Pay From: $57 per hour

• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory
• 3+ years of experience in a Supervisory/Management role
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of MT/MLT experience
• Bachelors Degree Required
• MT/MLT eligible (certification is a plus, but not required)
• Laboratory operations experience and overseeing and managing staff
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Processing payroll
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Supervise the day to day operations of the Lab/ Courier department
• Provide support with the preparation of lab specimens for analysis and testing
• Mentor, train and supervise support staff in the lab
• Resolve production errors and elevate issues as needed
• Handle quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency
• Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance documents
• Coach staff
• Process payroll and update and maintain personnel files
• Provide administrative support
