Construction Manager/ Foreman, Project & Program Management
Location: Chantilly, VA
Pay: $55/hr
Loyal Source is seeking two skilled Project Managers to support our client's Audio Visual (AV) Integration business in the Chantilly, VA area. The ideal candidate will have experience managing low-voltage, AV, security, or construction-related projects and will be responsible for overseeing projects from kickoff through closeout while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities- Develop and communicate project scope, schedules, budgets, and system designs to clients, operations teams, and management.
- Manage projects through all phases, including planning, execution, installation, and closeout.
- Coordinate equipment ordering, staging, job costing, and project documentation.
- Track project schedules, costs, and progress to ensure successful completion within budget and timeline requirements.
- Oversee technicians and field personnel, ensuring work is completed safely and accurately.
- Manage customer communications, change orders, progress updates, and project closeout activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project performance, review timesheets, and support staff development and training.
- Anticipate project challenges and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain professionalism and leadership in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ years of experience in a Project Manager role or similar position.
- Experience managing construction, AV integration, low-voltage, security, or technology projects.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in field environments and outdoor conditions as needed.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems, AV integration, security systems, or network infrastructure.
- Understanding of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation documents, and project specifications.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and job costing.
- Advanced knowledge of hand tools, testing equipment, and installation practices.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Project Manager with a background in AV integration, low-voltage systems, security, or construction projects. They possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
