Are you passionate about science and eager to make a difference? Smart Media is offering an exciting opportunity for high school graduates to join our team as Production Operator Trainees. We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts:

• 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm EST
• 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm EST

Must have flexibility for overtime.

Job Summary

The Production Operator Trainee will learn to perform functions related to drug product processing, ensuring compliance with cGMPs, customer requirements, and SOPs. You will follow standard procedures, recognize issues, and work towards increasing efficiency, throughput, and quality. You will understand and run processes to meet standards and schedules, participating in debriefs when goals are not met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery following SOPs.
• Ensure material purity and proper use of scales and equipment.
• Verify raw materials and batch records for release readiness.
• Clean equipment and facilities per SOPs.
• Perform machine changeovers and sample batches for quality testing.
• Complete accurate documentation of manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including cGMPs.
• Participate in safety teams and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in a labor-intensive environment preferred.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods, lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, and wear PPE including respirators.
