• 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm EST
• 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm EST
• Must have flexibility to work overtime

The Production Operator Trainee will be trained to perform functions related to processing drug products, ensuring product compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), customer requirements, and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity, and timing. You will learn to recognize issues and increase efficiency, throughput, and quality, and you will operate processes to meet assigned standards/routers and schedule.

When targets are not achieved, you will participate in debriefs to identify causes and corrective actions.

• Operates pharmaceutical production machinery and follows procedures for manufacturing (weighing, blending, dispensing, mixing, pellet coating, granulating, drying, milling, encapsulating, coating, potent compounds, etc.).
• Executes written SOPs to ensure material purity in the manufacturing process.
• Properly uses scales, printouts, tares, and daily calibration verification per SOPs.
• Examines manufacturer Product s, Quality Control release tags, and Batch Production Records to verify release of raw materials for production.
• Cleans manufacturing equipment and facilities per SOPs.
• Executes machine changeovers between batches.
• May sample batches for quality testing and performs in-process quality checks with accurate documentation.
• Understands and runs processes to meet the assigned schedule and standards/routers; participates in debriefings when targets are not achieved and identifies corrective actions.

• Completes documentation associated with manufacturing processes (e.g., batch records, protocols, logbooks) accurately.
• Ensures entries on Batch Production pages, and attaches all dispensary and weight verification tickets.
• Verifies manufacturing process documentation on BPR in a timely manner.
• Provides status updates and communicates operational challenges on status boards.

• Adheres to cGMP compliance/regulatory mandates and quality requirements.
• Participates in safety teams, start-up discussions, and incident debriefings as required.
• Maintains compliance with SOPs, policies, and procedures as required by the Company and regulatory agencies.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.

• Completes all required training, including company-required and machine-specific training.

• Contributes to team and project success by sharing knowledge.
• Collaborates within cross-functional teams as appropriate.

• High School diploma required
• Experience in a labor-intensive environment preferred
• Ability to communicate and comprehend English (verbal and written)
• Must have reliable transportation

Written Communication:

Physical Requirements:

Stand for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts), handle at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, wear a respirator and pass associated tests, and wear required PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes).

Salary: $18.00 per hour
