Pay
: $23.00 per hour. Shift differentials of 10% (second shift) and 15% (third shift) may apply. Salary offers based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

• Perform assigned analytical tests under direction of senior laboratory personnel following SOPs and quality control requirements.
• Support and comply with laboratory policies and procedures.
• Adhere to analytical schedules to maintain turnaround time for results including STAT or critical results.
• Ensure test systems are “in control” for each test performed.
• Inform supervisory personnel of all problems associated with test procedures.
• Report any actual or potential deviation from standard or accepted testing procedures and cooperate with investigations.
• Maintain laboratory areas and equipment in a safe, functional, and sanitary condition.
• Complete training and competency checklists as required.
• Adhere to all established CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Use personal protective equipment, engineering controls, and/or work practice controls as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned. (This is not an exhaustive list.)

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in a biological, chemical, physical science or Medical Technology from an accredited U.S. institution. U.S.‑educated candidates must provide a detailed original transcript.
• Foreign‑educated candidates must provide a credential evaluation from the NACES or AICE.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory.

• Lifting and carrying: 1–10 lbs frequently; 11–25 lbs occasionally; 36–50 lbs seldom; >50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand and work at bench for long periods.
• Frequent walking and/or standing.
• Ability to use a variety of manual and automated pipettes and instruments requiring manual dexterity.

• Basic theoretical and operational knowledge in designated specialty.
• Knowledge of organizational/departmental policies and procedures.

• Detail‑oriented; can work independently, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks.
• Interpersonal skills to interact courteously with supervisors, co‑workers, and clients.
• Communication skills for handling telephone inquiries from clients.
• Confidential handling of client information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
