Shift Manager – Pay Rate Up to $15.00
This position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA; all employment matters are handled by the franchisee.
Responsibilities- Plan shift operations and schedule crew.
- Monitor performance during the shift and take action to keep the team meeting McDonald’s standards.
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability of the restaurant.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to provide a smooth transition.
- Execute daily food safety checklists and practices.
- Ensure internal communication among crew members.
- Manage cash and inventory.
- Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Follow safety and security policies & procedures.
- Schedule crew and handle rotation.
- Never pay cash to anyone/vendor at the location.
- Handle customer complaints at the store level.
- Apply Covid‑19 protective practices to safeguard staff and customers.
- Attend product training webinars and keep the crew updated.
- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
- Professional and polite demeanor.
- Punctual and reliable; arrive on schedule.
- Honest communication skills.
- Ability to train new products and use company webcasts.
- Starting hourly rates up to $15.00/hr, depending on experience and availability.
