Shift Manager

Shift Manager – Pay Rate Up to $15.00

This position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA; all employment matters are handled by the franchisee.

• Plan shift operations and schedule crew.
• Monitor performance during the shift and take action to keep the team meeting McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability of the restaurant.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to provide a smooth transition.
• Execute daily food safety checklists and practices.
• Ensure internal communication among crew members.
• Manage cash and inventory.
• Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality.
• Follow safety and security policies & procedures.
• Schedule crew and handle rotation.
• Never pay cash to anyone/vendor at the location.
• Handle customer complaints at the store level.
• Apply Covid‑19 protective practices to safeguard staff and customers.
• Attend product training webinars and keep the crew updated.

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
• Professional and polite demeanor.
• Punctual and reliable; arrive on schedule.
• Honest communication skills.
• Ability to train new products and use company webcasts.

• Starting hourly rates up to $15.00/hr, depending on experience and availability.
