Salesperson

Entry level sales position supporting the DIY business and achieving sales and service objectives. Requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, basic part knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is essential. Position may be part‑time or full‑time. Fleet safety certification preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help the store meet its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services—including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes such as truck put away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock management.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
• General stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Prior Experience

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.

Store Driver

Entry level store position supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. Responsible for delivering parts, picking and staging parts for customer orders, handling returns and cores, delivering weekly/monthly sales flyers, and daily collection of credit accounts. Position can be part‑time or full‑time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.

Secondary Responsibilities

Physical Demands

The employee predominantly walks or stands and must be able to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The employee usually works inside but occasionally works outside and is exposed to various weather conditions while installing batteries and wiper blades. The employee may also be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.
