K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Director's Action Group (DAG) support in accordance with established organization/office policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Direct and oversee the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks.
- Manage the action tracking system and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office.
- Perform and maintain DAG support functions to include recognition programs, training and security.
- Manage Customer Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions for the supported office:
- Analyze Tier actions to route for appropriate completion.
- Monitor and report completion progress for managed Tier actions.
- Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy.
- Provide consolidated responses to Senior Management for review.
- Complete assigned Tier actions using provided instructions.
- Develop written Standard Operating Procedures for the Tier process.
- Generate Tier and related metrics.
- Prepare periodic reports, as required.
- Provide status updates on new, pending, and late actions.
- Analyze and assign or perform actions as appropriate.
- Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review.
- Manage and execute the action tracking process; develop standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirements.
- Monitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actions.
- Disseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the Customer.
- Draft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondence.
- Coordinate and maintain presentations for audiences up to the Customer level; maintain a quality control process for all presentations.
- Participate in DAG related meetings.
- Participate in internal committees, Integrated Process Teams (IPT), working groups and task forces.
- Manage records generated during the execution of the Directorate's projects and programs in accordance with Federal laws and regulations, as well as Customer Directives and Instructions.
- Create and assist in the preparation and development of reports, briefings and presentations for various audiences.
- Assist with event planning, attend and facilitate meetings, workshops, conferences and working group sessions; track status and milestones, and provide summary of meetings and meeting minutes when requested.
- Current TS/SCI Poly clearance is required.
- 10+ years of experience within any government OR target 5 years within IC or DoD.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: federal acquisitions, Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC) budget & finance processes, and National Security policy.
- Demonstrated experience in systems engineering or project/program management or both.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior executives at multiple organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Demonstrated experience adapting to a rapidly changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and versatility.
- Demonstrated experience fostering solid relationships that promote cooperation and communicate expectations.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing situations and making well‑informed decisions.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience.
- Demonstrated ability in oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver clear and concise responses.
