Position Summary

Seeking CASUAL security officers to provide routine patrol and access control functions, including property control at the Aerospace Chantilly, VA location.

This is a part-time/on-call position. Must have Top Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must hold a current Top-Secret Clearance and be eligible for SCI.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving records checks.
• Pass an employment physical.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with hardware.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
• At least 6 months of related security experience.

Working Conditions

Subject to interruptions. May need to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods, and climbing 8 or more flights of stairs.
