As a Security Officer - Logistics Unarmed Patrol in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive engagement. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Remain alert to potential security-related hazards or issues within the logistics and distribution setting and respond according to established protocols.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
