About the Rigger Apprenticeship ProgramThe Rigging Apprenticeship Program has been developed by industry experts and is designed to teach the core rigging skills necessary for individuals without any knowledge of the machinery moving industry or without rigging skills to start a fulfilling career as a skilled Rigger with opportunities to advance and grow in the industry through targeted skills development and training oversight.
Upon completing this multi-phase program, participants will have gained the proficiency in the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) necessary to perform in various Machinery Moving/Rigging positions.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Performing General Physical Activities -- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
- Take pride in your work and in the company.
- Communicate openly and strive for peak performance in daily tasks.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Committed to learning and be willing to complete all assignments, tasks, and assessments required of you by the program.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Able to travel to training, if applicable
