• Promote Safety: prioritize safety throughout the operation, following MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment: service, repair, adjust, maintain, and test Concrete Ready Mix Trucks and support equipment.
• Inspect Equipment and Material: identify and troubleshoot errors, diagnose defects, and perform repairs.
• Create Work Orders: provide legible and accurate information for all work performed.
• Communicate: ensure proper, safe, and preventative vehicle maintenance with personnel.
• Use Equipment: utilize various equipment, such as cutting torch, air and hand tools, jacks, grinders, and drill press.

  Activities:
  
  climb, lift, balance, walk, stoop, and handle materials.

• Previous experience in the mechanical field is required.
• MED HVY Truck ASE Certification is preferred.
• Must be able to read memos, instructions, and communicate verbally with fellow employees.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Flexibility: willing to work overtime and extended hours, outside in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
