• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Follow all safety, lock out tag out, and environmental rules and procedures.
• Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment: Service, repair, adjust, maintain, and test Concrete Ready Mix Trucks and support equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, lubrication, adjustments, failure analysis, and corrective actions. Repair hydraulic hoses, lighting, brakes, suspension, and AC work. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Inspect Equipment and Material: Inspect mobile equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues. Diagnose defects and perform repairs when necessary.
• Create Work Orders: Create and document work orders for repairs and services with legible, accurate information.
• Communicate: Coordinate with personnel to ensure proper, safe, and preventative vehicle maintenance.
• Use Equipment: Operate tools and equipment such as cutting torches, air and hand tools, jacks, grinders, and drill presses.
• Perform General Physical Activities: Move, lift, climb, balance, walk, stoop, and handle materials as required.
• Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

• Experience: Previous experience in the mechanical field is required.
• Certifications: MED HVY Truck ASE Certification is preferred.
• Communication: Ability to read memos and instructions and communicate verbally with fellow employees to solve problems.
• Basic Math: Ability to add, subtract, and understand basic units of measurement.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and extended hours, and to work outside in all weather conditions while tolerating loud noises.

• Hourly Range: The hourly range is $23.88 – $37.00, not inclusive of discretionary bonus or equity. Compensation considers multiple factors including skillset and market data.
